About

I don’t know, maybe I have a sick sense of humor. Or maybe I’m a bad parent. But there is something about a little kid who’s crying or sad or scared that is completely adorable to me.

My own sons inspired this blog — some of my favorite photos of them are when they are red-faced and howling about something. Because before long, they will possess the cool demeanor of unflappable teenagers and I may just forget how awesome it feels to swoop down, SuperMom-like style, and give them a reassuring hug and whisper that everything is a-ok.

This is the best blog ever! My favorite Christmas picture is one Sharon had taken a few years ago when Julie was small……needless to say she knew there were some of us who would find it funny!!! We are definitley all related. Now that our new computer is up and runnning, I have years worth of pictures to upload….so hopefully I will have something for you soon.

Liz: Great blog … LOVE your explanation for why the crying photos … I agree, there is no greater joy than being a mom & being able to “swoop down Super-Mom like style” to cheer little ones up is the best! My own kids are now grown up … it is amazing how fast the time flies by … thanks for the “tender moments” reminder! ..Marcia

  4. Just wanted to say that I love your blog and I love this pic! Too cute! As I’ve told you before, I believe, I have a soft spot for the crying pics, as well. There’s just something about seeing the Pineapple freak out over something that I know is momentary, that isn’t a big deal in the grand scheme of things, and is so easily fixed. I helps me to keep things in perspective.

Thank you for your FUN (and FUNNY!) blog!
