Color Me Whine

police

Oh dear. Looks like the color-your-own costume idea wasn’t well received. I could just see this cop breaking up a rowdy prom with a bunch of toddlers in faux tuxedo shirts. Too, tutu cute!

(Rachael strikes again! Her son’s discontent being Superman and a Bavarian boy has also been documented on this site. Wonder if he would finally smile over one of mom’s adorable tutus? In any case, thank you for all the photos.)

Having reservations

performance anxiety

This “Little Indian” is putting forth his bravest face; Grandma says he was a little nervous about the school play. Through his trail of tears, we see a glimpse of a smile.

(Thank you Ann! No wonder you are a proud Grandma.)

The little one aspires to graduate from SpiderBaby to SpiderMan someday.

Lederhosen me alone

lederhosen

Mom set out to honor her husband’s heritage by dressing the kids in traditional German garb; her son, a strapping young lad at only 18 months old, set out to let everyone know just how displeased he was to wear his very own pair of homemade lederhosen. OktoberMess!

(As mentioned, Rachael crafted this costume for her son. I guess I shouldn’t be surprised since she also has a side business making the most adorable tutus ever! You can find more about this crafty mama and fun ideas for the kids at RockOnMommies.com. Thanks, Rachael!)

Buzzkill

buzzkill

This is one sad Buzz Lightyear; bummed out because the neighbor kids had light sabers. Suddenly the Space Ranger’s flying wings didn’t seem so cool.

Fruitless fun

Here we have a convincing Mini Carmen Miranda (adorned with tassles and everything!) with a look on her face that can be described as anything but jubliant. Mom chuckles thinking how her daughter will look back on this photo and be upset about the costume — I’d reckon she’ll be even more miffed when she realizes Mom shared this with the entire community of BabyBlooze!

(Thanks, Kelli! Kelli’s kids are well-documented – the good and the bad moments. Luckily for us, she is generous about sharing! Check here and here for previous photos.)

Penguin is MAD-agascar

MADagascar

Heaven knows what could perturb this sweet lil’ penguin… Sea lion? Killer whale? Or maybe running out of candy before Halloween ended?

(Thanks, Ginger! I have to say a penguin is a pretty unique Halloween costume for a little one – love it).

Tiggerific Tantrum

tiggerific tantrum

RAWR, we’re loving this fierce and feisty Tigger in all her makeup-smeared glory. Mom Rhiannon assures us that the tantrum was not long-lived; a smiling happy-go-lucky Tigger emerged just a few minutes later.

(Thanks, Riahnnon!)

Angry to the MAX

The day will be better once Mom takes him out of the box.

Thanks to Mom Carissa for the photo and for her efforts in the OfficeMax “A Day Made Better” promotion to support teachers. Carissa’s blog is one of more than 30 sites helping to spread the word about teacher-funded classrooms and is hosting a giveaway for a deserving teacher. Enter here by Sunday, October 4, midnight PDT.

Baton down the hatches…

carseat

…looks like this kiddo is waging a raging battle against the seatbelt.

(Thanks, Jesus! Poor lil’ guy; I think everyone who sees this frustrated little face will give a collective AWWWW!)
